Our Program

Welcome to the online home of the Royals! The athletic program at Oak Knoll follows the school’s mission by providing opportunities for a challenging and rewarding athletic experience to students in grades 5 through 12 who dedicate themselves to an appropriate level of competition.

Our programs for the younger athletes are designed to serve as an introduction to various sports with a manageable time commitment. The fifth- and sixth-grade teams meet two days a week, and our seventh and eighth-grade teams meet three times per week.

Our all-girls’ high school level programs are significantly more demanding in terms of time and commitment. At this level, we offer 15 varsity programs, including Basketball, Cross Country, Fencing, Field Hockey, Golf, Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Sailing (fall and spring), Softball, Soccer, Swimming, Tennis, Track & Field (winter and spring), and Volleyball. High expectations enable each student-athlete the opportunity of reaching her potential and achieving both her personal and team goals.

Our primary athletic affiliation is with the Union County Conference, and for the majority of our sport offerings, our game/contest schedule is derived from this organization. In addition, our membership with several other athletic organizations affords us the opportunity to participate in various tournaments and compete at a high level. Please feel free to contact us directly in the athletic office if you have any questions regarding athletics at Oak Knoll.
