Academic Program Highlights
Oak Knoll students learn by doing, lead by serving, and live by faith in a unique academic environment focused on foundational skills and critical thinking. Students explore, investigate, and discover as they become compassionate leaders equipped with the courage to make a difference.
Students participate in a rich curricular environment that includes not only reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, and science, but also art, technology, creative movement, drama, choral and instrumental music, physical education, world language, and religion.
At Oak Knoll, traditional subjects come alive in classrooms where children feel empowered to ask critical questions and dive deep into subject areas. Students in grades 1-6 travel to different curriculum classrooms to learn from teachers who are experts in their fields, and who believe children learn best when treated with respect.
We strive to encourage and empower students’ holistic success by proactively weaving social-emotional learning and character education into the daily fabric of all school activities and events.
At Oak Knoll, leadership means decorating and packing bagged lunches for the homeless, visiting local food pantries to learn about food insecurity, or creating care package for America soldiers serving overseas. Our goal is to inspire students to lead and serve with compassion.
Our academics are grounded in the teachings of the Roman Catholic faith, and with each learning experience, our students reach new levels of spiritual growth and deepen their relationship with God.
